Although Akira had a decent time at Disneyland it was time to get back to what he was doing before, patrolling for rogue elements of society. This time would be different as Akira found exactly what he was looking for. A group of rogue power armors were using the Mojave Desert as a means to smuggle their goods. Using the terrain to his advantage Akira setup his ambush in the sand and waited for them to approach. As the group got closer he could pick up some of the things they were saying. “Hurry up!” The leader rogue power armor said to his fellow squad members, “They will be pissed if we do not make it in time.” “Yeah, yeah…” Another pilot spoke up as he picked up his load along with the others. Seeing this as a good time as any Akira began his attack. Leaping up from the sandy terrain the Masurao ignited both beam sabers just as it reached maximum height. With the sun behind the Masurao the rogue power armors could not look on directly without going blind. Striking from the heavens Akira went first for the leader of the rogue power armors. Both beam sabers slice the rogue power armor from the shoulders down to its legs. The force is enough to knock the rogue power armor to the ground. All the while the rest of the rogue power armors scramble to react but the Masurao is just that much faster. Jumping forward Akira strikes the next closest rogue power armor and slashes wide. The arc of the beam saber slices this rogue power’s chest wide open. Its pilot screams before falling to the ground just like his leader. “Who is this guy!” the third pilot in the group of rogue power armor shouts as he opens fire with his machinegun. The bullets dent the armor but are not enough cause extensive damage. Still moving forward Akira spun the beam saber in his left hand around and stabbed at the following rogue power armor. The beam ran true into the rogue power armor’s foot and to the pilot’s agony. The last unarmed rogue ignited his beam saber and charged the Masurao head on. Slowing down Akira was able to block the attack while removing the beam saber from the only other standing rogue power armor’s foot. Swinging up with the left beam saber Akira was able to push the rogue power armor back. “Justice demands you to fall here today, scum.” Akira said as he relaxed his stance knowing the enemy before him had no hope. Results: Akira Wins Akira Renjiro in Masurao: +8XP and +8% Sync; +1 Repair Day |
